What is Chartered Physiotherapy 

Physiotherapy specialises in human movement and function. 

The aim of physiotherapy is to restore function, normal movement, alleviate pain and improve well being. 

In Ireland, all Chartered Physiotherapists must obtain a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy by completing a four year degree.  To become Chartered and attain a license to practice, the physiotherapist must register with the professional body The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). 

Chartered Physiotherapists engage in Continual Professional Development which is audited by the ISCP.
